Winton House Venue Hire EH3

Winton House is an ideal venue for a range of corporate and private events, offering exclusive use of the house and grounds for the duration. The house itself dates back to 1480, boasts 400-year-old stone carved chimneys and original plasterwork ceilings, and is filled with literature, antique furniture and original artwork, including Canalettos and Van Dykes, yet offers the warmth and relaxed ambience of a home. The house is still in fact the family home of the Ogilvy family who live in a private self- contained wing of the property, with the main area given over to events. There are 7 public rooms, ranging from the cosy library and impressive front hall and Octagon entrances to the grand drawing room and ballroom and even our own vaulted cellar (ideal for whisky tastings or perhaps a specialist gin/rum bar).Most of the public rooms have open roaring fires.

Winton House remains a private house, but one which is available for hire for a wide variety of functions. It has architectural grandeur and history, but is not aloof or austere; you are welcomed warmly as a guest into a home.

Winton House can be exclusively yours for memorable corporate events, gala dinners, incentive events, private parties and special celebrations. The House’s interconnecting reception rooms are ideally laid out for conferences and meetings.

Up to 16 people can sleep in Winton House’s historic rooms, and 26 more can stay in our two 4 and 5 star luxury self-catering farmhouses – ideal for big groups, golf holidays and family parties as well as company events.
