This amazing building can cater for many different types of events with different rooms which can be adapted depending on the style of event you are looking to run. With a handy location next to Blackfriars station, sweeping views across the Thames and a stack of versatile and well-equipped spaces, this striking venue ticks some important boxes for organisers. Its 600-seat auditorium has a huge stage with easy street access for loading as well as ample breakout space. The first-floor exhibition and meeting facility Newgate Suite holds up to 33 stands and can also be broken down into four smaller meeting rooms. The stylish River Rooms have an open-plan layout, contemporary furniture, LED lighting and dark wood floors. There is room for 500 guests on the upper level and 200 on the lower.
Whilst the Queenhithe works beautifully on its own – for conferences, reception events, or artistic exhibitions – its when it is bolted to the River Rooms that it really shines. Our white box is great for post event dancing, or for a breakout space. Queenhithe and River Rooms go together like a fresh gin and tonic
Foyer and Mezzanine
Don’t underestimate the power of a spacious foyer. This is a place for networking, meeting, – some of the things that makes events great. The Mezzanine has a built in bar and can be used for coffee breaks, light lunches and after event drinks.
Used independently or together, both areas can be branded – we love it when guests feel at home.
The Newgate is a large room, it’s also incredibly well equipped and designed to meet the needs of exhibitors, and larger conferences or AGMs. It’s also highly flexible, interconnecting walls can create breakout spaces, smaller meeting areas and even a little office for the event organiser, deserved we think
Stylish and contemporary, the two River Rooms are perfect for evening receptions, wedding breakfasts and ceremonies, to gala dinners and awards ceremonies.
Serviced with the finest food and wine, The River Rooms bring the London skyline into your event, through panoramic windows; day or night.
Creative, cultural, historic and packed with personality. The Mermaid has a fully working auditorium, used by the BBC and every week by businesses and brands. All of them looking to add a little theatre to their event.
