You will find The King’s Head in Mayfair London within a short stroll of Piccadilly, Old Bond Street and Green Park Tube – however you won’t find another like it. Step in to discover a traditional pub of unique character, revered for its eclectic range of real ales and its quality pub food, which are served, as they should be, with a generous measure of famous British hospitality.

Having a long and distinguished history, The King’s Head stands on land formerly owned by the Duke of Albemarle. It has undergone several name changes since 1710 but is now back with its original name thought to be credited to King Charles II. Some however, believe it is named after King George II, so the venue depicted both on our pub’s sign.

The King’s Head is one of many rare gems in the Nicholson’s collection of great British pubs, reputed for their distinctive buildings, intriguing history and vibrant atmosphere.
