HKK offers a unique Chinese fine dining experience epitomising the skill and creativity of Hakkasan’s experts, from the Chinese kitchen, whose chefs create unique dishes using both ancient and contemporary cooking techniques, to the expertly crafted desserts and skilfully created wine and cocktail list. The tasting menu changes regularly, illustrating Executive Head Chef Tong Chee Hwee’s passion for creating complex flavoured dishes with a modern flair and showcasing the true diversity and unparalleled range of ingredients, styles and cooking techniques of Chinese cuisine.
HKK’s signature dish, the Cherry wood roasted Peking duck, pulls on influences from the ancient cooking styles of Beijing and the Imperial courts. It is roasted in a custom made wood-fired oven visible from the counter, private and main dining room, and it is carved by the chef in front of the diners.
The restaurant opened in December 2012. Located close to London Liverpool Station and conveniently between Shoreditch and the City, HKK gained a Michelin star within its first year and has retained it ever since.
There is a private room which is available for private and corporate events at lunch and dinner and can accommodate up to 14 guests seated and 20 standing. The room features a rectangular shaped chef’s table offering diners direct views to the kitchen and the Peking duck oven. It is decorated with unique hand-painted Chinese wallpaper designed exclusively for HKK, and a tinted sliding glass door offering the option of complete privacy and soundproofing.
Guests dining in the private room have their own dedicated waiter and sommelier, and can assist with any special requests. Group reservations are also offered in the main dining area for up to 20 guests seated on one long table.
HKK is available for exclusive hire for sit down lunch or dinner for up to 63 guests and for a drinks and canapés reception for up to 80 standing.Packages
