Compton Verney, with its stunning landscaped grounds, is the perfect setting for private and corporate events, weddings, product launches, team building and marquee functions. This award-winning, elegant gallery melds a beautiful 18th Century original exterior with contemporary internal architecture, set in ‘Capability’ Brown designed parkland.

Set in the heart of England, Compton Verney is easily accessible from the M40, M42 or M5 and within easy reach of Birmingham International airport. Banbury, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick and Leamington Spa are only a twenty minute drive away, with rail links direct to London and the rest of the country, making it suitable for all manner of events.

Winners of the 2015 Cotswolds Awards, Compton Verney caters for a variety of events, from small dinners of 20 to receptions of 350 guests or more. The venue offer clients an exclusive opportunity of entertaining in a unique art gallery atmosphere. Guests have access to the art, architecture and parkland, all on an intimate and private basis.

Whether you are hosting an intimate private celebration, a drinks and canapé or a larger style banqueting event, fashion show or awards ceremony the venue’s dedicated team will work with you on a bespoke package and innovative menu that will ensure the ‘wow’ factor. For large scale events you can dine in the splendour of the Adam Hall. If you and your guests would like an exclusive private view of the ground floors galleries with pre-dinner drinks in the Atrium in winter, or on the Portico in the summer Compton Verney can arrange it. If it’s a little less formal then why not host your event in the contemporary café which is perfect for smaller events and family celebrations.

The venue had 9 brilliant event spaces:

  • Adam Hall -The grandeur of this room makes it a fantastic space for large-scale presentations, meetings or formal conferences. It is also a fantastic room for formal entertaining along with the ground floor galleries as this enables guests to have use of the galleries for drinks receptions, and to see the collections in a different light.
  • Servants Hall- This contemporary space is located just off the Adam Hall and is ideal for mid-sized conferences on its own or as a breakout space from the Adam Hall
  • Seminar Room- With built in audio-visual facilities this room is perfect for formal presentations, board meetings or team away days.
  • Lakeside- An ornate library style room with fantastic views of the parkland and lake. Ideal for boardroom meetings or project team ‘brainstorming’.
  • Wellingtonia – This contemporary style room has views of the parkland and countryside beyond. This can also be used as a break-out space.
  • Cedar View – This 1st floor room with views of our stunning Cedar of Lebanon tree and out over the open Warwickshire countryside.
  • Moores Gallery-  This modern versatile space is perfect for seminars, exhibitions and receptions. It provides a superb space for conferences, with adjacent break-out space if hired with the Verney Suite.
  • Verney Suite- If hired as a standalone suite these adjoining rooms are great for workshops and brainstorming events.
  • West Lawn- Ideal outdoor spaces for private receptions, product launches, open air theatre or concerts, antique fairs or filming. It is also available to hire to place a marquee on.
