Avenue restaurant and bar brings a shot of Manhattan-inspired glamour to St James this Christmas with striking contemporary interiors and artwork. Boasting two main event spaces, the Restaurant and Bar, they know how to throw a good Christmas party at Avenue.
Originally designed by American architect Rick Mather in 1996, the grand, high-ceilinged restaurant and bar has been transformed by Russell Sage Studios to give the feel of a glamorous Manhattan loft space, with a contemporary New American menu and wine list to match. Hosting a Christmas drinks party? The bar at Avenue is a destination in its own right for standing receptions and cocktail parties up to 20, serving up craft beers and classic cocktails inspired by the US Prohibition era, including a regularly changing list of ‘An American in London’ cocktails paying tribute to great American bartenders who moved to London during Prohibition. The mirrored bar back displays an array of vintage US bourbons, a speciality of the bar, alongside a small but innovative list of New American bar snacks.
Avenue can offer a number of different dining options for you and your guests this Christmas. The spacious design of the restaurant can accommodate group bookings of up to 50 diners seated in the main restaurant or for a more intimate Christmas celebration we have our private dining room which hosts up to 20 guests.
